Painting technique & colors.
The way I paint and the techniques I use change over time. Constantly looking for something new – not just new topics, but experiences that I can put into imagery. I almost always paint very decoratively and colorfully. I would like to stay that way, always be open to everything new and translate fresh thoughts into wonderful color melodies. That’s my character. The quality of the materials is very important to me. The acrylic paints come from the Swiss manufacturer Lascaux, which offers excellent qualities with a very high pigment content. The oil paints also come from a Swiss and a German manufacturer. They are also very high quality and highly pigmented. As a background I use linen or a cotton-linen blend. The canvases are often double-planked to prevent warping caused by moisture. However, this makes them heavier than usual.
